9 to 5!
This summer Broadway Bound Players will be performing Dolly Parton's musical 9 to 5. Yes, there is a movie and it's very close to the book for the show! The soundtrack is available on iTunes and is fantastic. If you plan on coming out for the show, (which we hope you are) we recommend that you purchase the soundtrack to familiarize yourself with the show. If you can't purchase the soundtrack you can also look up the songs on YouTube. The show has strong roles for females and males, an equal balance between singing dancing, and acting, and has a featured ensemble. 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL tells the story of three unlikely friends who conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do -- even in a man's world. Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL is about teaming up and taking care of business... it's about getting credit and getting even...
We will be having an informational meeting for parents and potential cast members in May, two audition workshops just like is years past, and auditions will be in the beginning of June.
